The Glenlivet Distillery Highlights
The Speyside Room
The Speyside Room
The dramatic Speyside landscape is just as beautiful as our distillery, so if you’re wanting to stretch your legs pre- or post-whisky tasting, head out on one of three circular Smuggler’s Trails. Once a battleground for illicit distillers and excisemen, whether you take on the 5 km, 10.5 km or 11 km, you’re bound to have a whole new appreciation for whisky smugglers.
The Process Room
The Process Room
If you’ve always wanted to become a proper whisky connoisseur, book a tour so you can access the multi-sensory Provenance Room and get the low down on exactly how our whisky is made. See, touch and smell the different barley samples, nose the new make spirit that we put into our casks to mature and taste the local Glenlivet water while learning about each and every step of our production process.
The Provision Room
The Provision Room
The Provision Room (also known as The Glenlivet Shop) is our idea of paradise. Boasting the largest selection of The Glenlivet available to purchase anywhere in the world (from our core range up to the Winchester Collection plus all sorts of exclusives), you can not only personalise your very own bottle of The Glenlivet Captain’s Reserve, The Glenlivet 12 Year Old and The Glenlivet 15 Year Old with bespoke labels, but you can fill up an exclusive cask strength edition of The Glenlivet 12, 15 and 18 Year Old yourself at the self-fill bottle station! We told you it was paradise.
Smuggler’s HIdeout
Sumuggler’s hideout
Featuring 83 hand-crafted clay pots to replicate those used to smuggle The Glenlivet through the hills of Speyside back in the day, the Smuggler’s Hideout is the place to be if you want to try one (or three) of The Glenlivet Cocktail Capsule Collection. Located just off the Drawing Room, you’ll also be able to order more traditional cocktails (or your favourite Glenlivet whisky straight up) and taste exclusive bottlings.
