OUR PIONEERING SPIRIT
Our story began in 1824 when our founder, George Smith, pioneered the original Speyside style of Single Malt whisky distilling. Since The Glenlivet’s inception, we have been pushing boundaries of flavour and craftsmanship through exceptional distinctive casks, and redefining whisky consumption through the innovative Capsule Collection and Twist & Mix Cocktails.

THE TWELVE ELEMENTS
The luxurious, rare expression, aged and crafted by a long line of makers, unites two carefully selected casks, each matured independently for 50 years to create a unique whisky of remarkable depth and character. Chosen for their distinct qualities, the first fill bourbon barrel offers caramel sweetness and honey-comb notes, while the re-fill hogshead imparts richer toasted oak and ginger spice undertones.

Our extraordinary 50-year-old whisky pays homage to the twelve essential elements of The Glenlivet single malt, from the spiritual to the scientific. The design of each exclusive bottle represents an individual element in the whisky’s craft, generated by AI technology. This category-first innovation continues our 200 year legacy of pushing boundaries in whisky, forever moving forwards to set new standards in craftsmanship and flavour to produce the highest quality liquid.
