Awards season has been a good one for The Glenlivet. Having taken home 12 titles, we’re pretty proud of our single malts.
Each bottle was blind-tasted and scored by specialist judges at a series of prestigious events including the International Spirits Challenge, World Whiskies Awards and the International Wine and Spirit Competition.
So without further ado, here’s the results…

12 Year Old
Awards: IWSC Bronze and World Whiskies Award 2023 Silver
Our classic scotch is a true representation of The Glenlivet’s signature style; smooth, fruity, complex and sophisticated. As one of the world’s most popular malts, this multi-award winning whisky is made for entertaining and special occasions – a bottle to keep handy for every moment. Smooth vanilla and fruity pineapple give The Glenlivet 12 Year Old whisky a distinct sweet smoothness.
15 Year Old
Awards: IWSC Gold and World Whiskies Award 2023 Gold
Deeply rich and exotically spiced, The Glenlivet 15 Year Old whisky is one of the first bottles to use French oak in its creation. This technique results in a unique, full-flavoured expression with lingering hints of sweet almond and fruits.
Captain’s Reserve
Awards: IWSC Silver and ISC Silver
Our new taste exploration bursts with rich intensity developed throughout its journey from bourbon and sherry casks. Poached pears, chocolate raisins and apricot jam are just some of the sensations found within this single malt. Unveil the many layers of The Glenlivet Captain’s Reserve.
Caribbean Reserve
Awards: IWSC Silver and ISC Silver
Sweet and smooth, The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve is made for summer drinking. Tropical notes of ripe bananas, pear and red apple take centre stage in this bold expression, the result of a portion being finished in barrels that previously held Caribbean rum. It’s a wonderful sip alone, on the rocks or within a fruity whisky cocktail.
Founder’s Reserve

Our tribute to the man that started it all. The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve celebrates the freedom and tradition of our founder George Smith. Classic, creamy and exceptionally smooth, it’s an age-old recipe that never goes out of style.

18 Year Old
Awards: WWA Bronze, IWSC Gold, ISC Gold
The Glenlivet 18 Year Old single malt sits proudly in our cabinet, having won more awards than any other expression. The rich fruity nose is met with notes of winter spice, achieved by combining first and second-fill American oak casks with ex-sherry oak casks. This balanced, elegant scotch is made for special occasions.
21 Year Old
Awards: ISC Gold
The triple cask finish on The Glenlivet 21 Year Old single malt delivers extra layers of spice and depth. Finished in first-fill Oloroso Sherry, Tronçais Cognac and Colheita vintage Port casks, the scotch takes drinkers on an intriguing journey from juicy peaches to chocolate-coated ginger.
25 Year Old
Awards: IWSC Silver and ISC Gold, WWA Silver
For the second year in the row, The Glenlivet 25 Year Old whisky has won Gold at the International Spirits Challenge, also taking home Silver at IWSC. Thanks to its finish in first fill in Pedro Ximenez Sherry and Tronçais oak Cognac casks, this celebrated expression has an iconic smooth and fruity richness complemented by sweet figs and charred pineapple.

Triple Cask Rare Cask
Awards: IWSC Gold and ISC Gold
A rare whisky from our Triple Cask collection, a series of whiskies that are matured in three different types of casks to amplify the depth and complexity of the original The Glenlivet single malt. The Glenlivet Rare Cask is defined by a distinctive rich taste and depth developed from a high proportion of ex-sherry casks. The result: a spiced amber liquid with traces of vanilla, ginger and orange marmalade.
Distiller’s Reserve
Awards: IWSC Silver and ISC Gold
The Glenlivet Distiller’s Reserve is the cornerstone of our Triple Cask range. Carefully balancing the influence of the three different types of casks, it results in a harmonious single malt scotch combining fruity notes with our signature smoothness. Discover a nose of ripe pear and fudge that finishes on marzipan and fresh hazelnuts.
White Oak Reserve

Using First Fill American White Oak cases among ex-sherry and Traditional Oak, this exceptional expression delivers a deep, velvety finish with a gentle sweet caramel nose. The Glenlivet White Oak Reserve is a beautiful light amber liquid that pairs wonderfully with rich flavours in the kitchen.
