Awards season has been a good one for The Glenlivet. Having taken home 12 titles, we’re pretty proud of our single malts.
Each bottle was blind-tasted and scored by specialist judges at a series of
prestigious events including the International Spirits Challenge, World
Whiskies Awards and the International Wine and Spirit Competition.
So without further ado, here’s the results…

12 year old
15 year old
Deeply rich and exotically spiced, The Glenlivet 15 Year Old whisky is one of the first bottles to use French oak in its creation. This technique results in a unique, full-flavoured expression with lingering hints of sweet almond and fruits.
18 year old
The Glenlivet 18 Year Old single malt sits proudly in our cabinet , having won more awards than any other expression. The rich fruity nose is met with notes of winter spice, achieved by combining first and second-fill American oak casks with ex-sherry oak casks. This balanced , elegant Scotch is made for special occasions.
21 year old
The triple cask finish on The Glenlivet 21 Year Old single malt delivers extra layers of spice and depth. Finished in first-fill Oloroso Sherry, Tronçais Cognac and Colheita vintage Port casks, the scotch takes drinkers on an intriguing journey from juicy peaches to chocolate-coated ginger.
25 year old
This exquisite 25 Year Old expression has been finished in first-fill Pedro X im éne z Sherry and Tronçais Oak Cognac casks, bringing indulgent richness to the iconic smooth and fruity house style of The Glenlivet. Enticing flavours of sweet fig and blood orange deriving from the Sherry influence are complemented by the Cognac casks’ warming notes of ginger, toasted oak and a hint of charred pineapple.
