There’s no better addition to a BBQ than a smoker so we’ve rounded up some of the best there is.
Smoking that isn’t just for Whisky
IN AT #1
Probably the most popular on the market and so it should be. The Big Green Egg is famed for retaining heat with the shape ensuring even cooking throughout. No wonder The Big Green egg is loved by Michelin chefs and ‘BBQ Heads’.
THE STARTER PACK
A more budget friendly option for beginners is the BAR-BE-QUICK which also includes facilities to roast and grill with two grill tops. It’s pretty portable too, for trips away with whisky cocktails in hand.
Top tip
Clean the ash from building up at the bottom of your barbecue otherwise you will suffocate your fuel. Keep the fire burning!
TURN BABY, TURN
Once you’re set up and ready to go, additions like this rotisserie kit can keep your recipes always fresh. The mechanism turns repeatedly so you can stack meats, a whole chicken or veggie kebabs to continuously roast evenly on all sides.
