The recipe for this cocktail calls for a smoked coupe glass. The smoke adds a touch of something special to the drink and a little mixology flair. But it can be served in an unsmoked glass and be delicious as well.

  • 45 ml The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve
  • 15 ml Bitter Truth Apricot Liqueur
  • 25 ml Bitter Truth EXR
  • 15 ml Lillet Blanc
  • 2 dashes Scrappy's Aromatic Bitters
  • Cherry wood chips
  • If you choose to add the smoke to your cocktail, cherry wood chips will impart a perfect flavour. They should be available at a supermarket or online. Simply put a couple of chips on foil, light them and hold the cocktail glass over the smoke. Make sure not to leave the chips unattended while they are still burning.
  • Combine all ingredients into a glass and stir. Strain into the cherry wood-smoked coupe glass.
