The recipe for this cocktail calls for a smoked coupe glass. The smoke adds a touch of something special to the drink and a little mixology flair. But it can be served in an unsmoked glass and be delicious as well.
If you choose to add the smoke to your cocktail, cherry wood chips will impart a perfect flavour. They should be available at a supermarket or online. Simply put a couple of chips on foil, light them and hold the cocktail glass over the smoke. Make sure not to leave the chips unattended while they are still burning.
Combine all ingredients into a glass and stir. Strain into the cherry wood-smoked coupe glass.
