The G&Tea
At The Glenlivet, we are always pushing the boundaries of how to enjoy our single malt. We love it neat, we love it with soda, but right now, we really love it with iced tea.
Our Founder’s Reserve is remarkably fruity - think citrus fruits, toffee apples, and sweet pears. It is delicate and approachable, while retaining all of the complexity that you would expect from The Glenlivet whisky.
We love to think outside of the box, finding new ways to bring out the bold flavours of our Scotch. When we tried it with T2’s Packs-a-Peach tea, over ice with a slice of lemon, it hit different. We knew we were on to something.
We cold-brewed a selection of T2’s fruity tisanes, and each brought out new complexity in our Founder’s Reserve. Fruitalicious? Delicious. Strawberries and cream? A dream. T2 have such a dynamic portfolio that the possibilities are endless! We especially love Packs-a-Peach because it is sweet enough that we can enjoy it without sugar. Simply cold brew, and serve with The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve and fresh lemon. And it’s not just their delicious teas that we love about T2.
T2 was born out of a desire to do things differently. They are making it their mission to use the humble brew to fuel conversations around diversity and inclusion, and at The Glenlivet, that is our cup of tea. The Recipe
Ingredients
- 30mL The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve
- 100mL T2's Packs-a-Peach tea, cold-brewed for around ten minutes
- A squeeze of lemon to taste
Method
Cold-brew your tea for around ten minutes. When it is sweet and fresh to taste, you're ready! In a tall glass with lots of ice, add your Glenlivet Founder's Reserve and top with your tea. Add a squeeze of lemon and garnish with fresh fruit. Enjoy!
