
What To Cook This Weekend: Garlic & Chilli Prawns
This weekend we were feeling a punchy lunch to serve with our top Scotch!
Garlic & Chilli Prawns
Ingredients:
- The Glenlivet 18 Year Old
- A dash of olive oil
- 80g of butter
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 fresh red chillies, finely sliced
- 1kg fresh prawns, peeled
- 1 fresh lemon
- 1 bunch coriander, chopped
- Fresh bread to serve
Method:
- Heat the oil and butter in a large pan
- Fry off the garlic & chillies for 1 minute
- Add a splash of The Glenlivet to the pan
- Add your prawns and season
- Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the prawns are cooked through
- Remove from the heat
- Grate the zest of the lemon into the mixture, before squeezing in the juice
- Add the coriander and toss everything together
Pour yourself a dram of The Glenlivet, and get comfy.
