The Woodvale Atlantic Challenge is famous as one of the world's toughest rowing races.

Commencing on the 6th December 2009, the race begins off the island of La Gomera, near the western coast of Tenerife, and crosses the Atlantic Ocean to finish in Antigua - almost 3000 miles of rowing that throws up enormous challenges, both physical and mental.
